Exercise Physiology

Exercise Physiologists are university qualified allied health professionals that work with an array of clientele ranging from elite athletes to the elderly. Exercise physiologists use an array of physical activity modes such as resistance training, aerobic conditioning, and hydrotherapy to positively influence the body’s cardiovascular system, endocrine system, and musculoskeletal system to prevent and manage injuries or chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression and falls prevention.

The group sessions aim to empower clients, to provide information that is practical and down-to-earth, and offers an opportunity for clients to connect with others with similar needs and goals.
