What is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a scheme of the Australian Government that funds costs associated with disability. The Scheme aims to empower individuals living with a disability by investing in their health and wellbeing with aims to improve accessibility to support services to improve independence, community participation, and employment opportunities and help individuals manage their disability/s.
About us
We are an experienced Allied Health team who has a keen interest in working in the Ndis. Our Service Provision consists of Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Movement Therapy. We see Participants in our two clinics as well as performing home visits throughout the Illawarra.
Getting started
In order to access the NDIS and become a participant of the service there are some steps that need to be taken. Below is a quick summary of the initial process, full information can be accessed via the NDIS website or phone: 1800 800 110. NDIS Local Area Coordinators can walk you through the process and stages of your NDIS pathway.
Request Access
Contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110.
An NDIS Representative will talk you through your application.
You will be supplied with the necessary forms for you and your health professional to complete.
Beginning your plan
Once your application is approved you can begin creating your first plan.
Your NDIS Representative or Local Area Coordinator will assist you with this.
Include any goals and services you think are necessary to help you achieve them.

Upon receiving your enquiry, our NDIS team will book you an appointment with a Service Provider suited to your needs. They will also talk you through the process of completing the required documentation including the Service Agreement. It will assist the process if you can have your Ndis registration number, Support Coordinator & Plan Manager details as applicable, and how your fund is being managed with you when you speak to our team.
